Expertise
I earned my Master’s Degree in Visual Arts from Stellenbosch University and am currently pursuing my PhD in Information Technology at Nelson Mandela University’s Centre for Community Technologies. By seamlessly integrating the disciplines of design and technology, I have honed my expertise in developing through-the-line solutions for ‘Software as a Service’ (SaaS) projects. I have effectively applied this perspective across various sectors, including marketing (Creative Request), education (eReady), health (B-Wise, ACT-Accelerator), public administration (PMS for BCMM, MBDA), and research and development (Innovation Bridge Portal).
Experience
I have a high-level international client base, spanning both the private and public sectors. I have undertaken diverse projects for a wide array of renowned organizations, including: Uber & Uber Eats (globally), FIND (Switzerland), Travelzoo (Germany), CHAI (South Africa), IronMan South Africa, Mohair South Africa, the South African Red Cross Society, the South African National Departments of Health and Basic Education, the Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality, the Buffalo City Metropolitan Development Agency, the Mandela Bay Development Agency, Nelson Mandela University, the Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency, and the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research.

In my role as creative director, I oversee the visual curation of the space, ensuring a seamless blend of creativity and expression with exceptional food and drink offerings. The result is a vibrant hub that resonates with the city, inviting patrons to immerse themselves in an atmosphere of inspired culinary and visual experiences.

I co-founded Ampersand, a creative tech consultancy, in 2014. In my role as technology designer, I lead multi-disciplinary teams in delivering through-the-line solutions for diverse projects encompassing creative (marketing and communication) as well as technology-based (SaaS) initiatives.
The Soapbox

I co-founded The Soapbox, a local zine that focused on food, fashion, art and design, in 2012. In my role as creative director I oversaw the complete production of 22 monthly issues, which included the theme development, content planning, photography, layout and graphic design, as well as the online publication and print distribution of each issue. Following its conclusion, The Soapbox became the cornerstone from which Ampersand™, a creative techconsultancy, was founded.
