I volunteered with the Central Texas Food Bank in Texas as part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship programme. During this period, I contributed to poverty-alleviation initiatives focused on food security, logistics support, and community assistance.

The experience complemented the fellowship’s leadership and civic engagement components, reinforcing the importance of service-driven leadership and the role of coordinated community action in addressing systemic social challenges.
