I was recognised as a recipient of the Top 40 Under 40 award by the Nelson Mandela Bay Business Chamber, which honours locally based young business leaders under the age of 40 for their professional achievement and impact.

At the time of the award, I served as Creative Director at Ampersand, where I led production teams across all aspects of design direction and implementation. My approach is grounded in disciplined creative leadership that balances conceptual rigour with practical execution to ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time, and at scale.

The recognition also reflects my academic grounding and professional ethos. I am a graduate of the Nelson Mandela University’s School of Music, Art & Design, with its roots in the historic Port Elizabeth Art School founded in 1882. My work is guided by the belief that strong design practice is principle-driven, historically informed, and inseparable from the realities of implementation.
